The pharmacist’s function is changing to become more clinical and less technical. We are totally embracing this change in our practice. We are pleased to provide medication evaluations and reviews to our patients.
When one of our pharmacists does a full examination of a patient’s medications and conditions with the patient, this is known as a medication assessment. Duplicate therapies, unpleasant responses or interactions, and therapeutic failures are all things that this service aims to eliminate. The patient is usually not charged for this treatment.
